A Krakow stag weekend works best with the whole group under one roof: an apartment in the centre, several hotel rooms or a house outside the city. Day one is arrival, an afternoon activity, dinner and a party on a boat, a tram or in a club; day two is a slow breakfast, recovery and the trip home. Below you’ll find a comparison of places to stay, a ready 2-day plan and a list of easily forgotten details.
We’ve run bumper ball games in Krakow for years and also help groups plan the rest of the weekend: a boat party, a club booth, a restaurant table and hotel transfers. The biggest headache is rarely choosing activities – it’s the logistics, so we break them down step by step.

Krakow stag weekend accommodation: apartment, hostel, hotel or house?
The choice depends on group size, budget and whether you want a shared space for before and after going out. The key differences:
| Type of stay | Best for | Pros | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apartment in the centre | groups who want to stay together | shared living room and kitchen, close to restaurants and clubs | house rules, deposit, neighbours through the wall |
| Hostel | groups on a tight budget | low price per bed, often central | dorm rooms, other guests |
| Hotel | groups who value comfort | breakfast, reception, separate rooms | no shared space |
| House outside Krakow | big groups who like space | garden, barbecue, room for a game on the grass | getting into town, night-time transport |
Apartment – a shared base for the whole group
An apartment gives you what a hotel can’t: one place where the group gathers before heading out and returns to after the party. Before booking, read the house rules and tell the owner a stag group is coming – some places refuse such bookings or ask for a higher deposit. Remember too that under Polish law, disturbing the peace at night by shouting or noise is an offence under Article 51 of the Code of Petty Offences.
Hostel and hotel
A hostel is usually the cheapest option and suits a group that will only sleep there. A hotel costs more but gives you breakfast, a reception desk and peace of mind – for a bigger group, ask about a group booking so your rooms are together.
House outside Krakow
A house outside Krakow suits a bigger group that wants a garden, a barbecue and space to hang out away from neighbours through the wall. If there’s a large, flat lawn, you can play bubble football on site – we deliver the balls free within 15 km of Krakow city centre and charge €0.23/km beyond that. In summer, avoid playing in the midday sun, and if the garden turns out too small, we’ll move the game to a sports hall.
Which part of town?
The Old Town (Stare Miasto) and Kazimierz are closest to restaurants and clubs, but also have the most tourists and noise on weekend nights. Podgórze is across the Vistula, a few minutes’ walk from Kazimierz, while staying near Krakow Główny, the main railway station, makes arriving and leaving easier. If you’re playing at Com Com Zone, ul. Ptaszyckiego 6 in Nowa Huta, check how you’ll get there from your accommodation.
The 2-day plan
This plan assumes you arrive late on Saturday morning and leave on Sunday after lunch. Adjust the times to your trains and flights, but keep the order – we explain why below.
Day 1 – arrival, bubble football and a night out
- 11:00–13:00 – arrival and check-in. The train from Krakow Airport in Balice to Krakow Główny takes about 18 minutes and runs every half hour. If check-in is later, ask about leaving your bags.
- 13:00 – light lunch. Go easy on the portions – you’ll soon be running around in a bubble.
- 14:30–15:30 – bubble football. We play at Com Com Zone (ul. Ptaszyckiego 6), at al. Jana Pawła II 37 or wherever you choose. A one-hour booking means about 45 minutes of actual play, and stag groups most often pick the VIP hall package at €28 per person – with a game host and referee, souvenir photos, water and a warm-up.
- 17:00 – back to base, shower and a breather. A good moment for a nap.
- 19:00 – dinner. Book a Saturday table for a big group well in advance – we can help.
- 21:00 – boat or tram. A private party on a boat on the Vistula or a party tram rolling through the streets of Krakow is the highlight everyone will remember.
- From 23:00 – club. A reserved booth guarantees space for everyone, with no hunting for a table for a dozen-plus – we can book that too.
The order matters: bubble football always comes before the party, never after it. In a bubble you have to keep your balance and react to other players, and after a few drinks that’s asking for trouble. Package details are on our page about bubble football for a stag do in Krakow.

Day 2 – recovery and the trip home
- 10:00 – late breakfast. After an active Saturday, everyone will welcome a slow start and plenty of coffee.
- Before noon – check-out. Check the time in your booking confirmation and arrange luggage storage in advance.
- 11:30–14:00 – recovery. A stroll along the Vistula Boulevards (Bulwary Wiślane) below Wawel, a short bike ride by the river, or a pool and sauna – pick whatever suits the state of the group.
- 14:00 – lunch and home. A last lunch together is the perfect time to sum up the weekend and start the first ‘remember when…’ stories.
Keep Sunday undemanding – even a group that didn’t drink will welcome a slower pace after bubble football and a night in a club. Staying longer? Find more ideas in our list of 20 stag do activities in Krakow.
Staying in a house outside Krakow – how to change the plan
If you’re staying outside Krakow, flip day one around: instead of travelling into town for the game, bring the game to you. We’ll arrive with the balls, inflate them, show you how to put them on and keep an eye on the game – the package without a hall costs €17 per person, and you can add a game host and referee with a speaker for music for €34/h. After the game there’s time for a barbecue and a rest before the evening.
In the evening you have two options: stay at the house or head into town for the boat and a club. If you choose town, plan transport both ways in advance – getting a dozen-plus people back from outside Krakow at night isn’t something to sort out at 3 a.m.

How much does a Krakow stag weekend cost?
The cost depends mainly on accommodation and evening plans, so set a budget per person before booking anything. Our own prices are simple: the package without a hall is €17 per person, with a hall €22 and with a VIP hall €28; photo coverage costs €34 and a short HD video €78. We’ve worked out sample budgets for different group sizes in our article on how much a stag do in Krakow costs.
What’s easy to forget?
The devil is in the detail, and a weekend for a dozen-plus people has plenty of it. Check these points before you travel:
- Kit for the game. Shorts or a tracksuit, a T-shirt and trainers – just like PE; in summer, bring water too.
- Getting between venues. The hall, restaurant, boat and club are often four different addresses; we price transport for participants individually.
- One plan in one place. A group chat with the addresses, times and the organiser’s number saves you dozens of ‘where are you?’ calls.
- One person handling the money. A shared kitty and one treasurer spare you from splitting every bill.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should you book accommodation for a stag weekend?
As soon as you know the date – large apartments and houses for a dozen-plus people are much scarcer than rooms for two. Book the bubble football early too; we reply to enquiries within 24 hours.
What if it rains on your stag weekend?
You’ll play in a sports hall – we work with venues all over Krakow, so we’ll find and book one for you. Rain won’t spoil a party tram or a night in a club either.
How many people can play bubble football at once?
The pitch takes 10–12 players at a time. For a bigger group, we split into teams and run a mini tournament, and with a large group it’s worth extending the game by 30 minutes.
Who pays for the groom’s accommodation?
Usually the rest of the group splits his share, but it varies. Agree on it at the start, with the first payment into the kitty, so nobody gets a surprise.
