How much does a Krakow stag do cost? On the assumptions in this article, a basic version (bubble football, dinner and a pub) comes to about €57 per person, a mid-range one with accommodation and a club about €137, and a VIP one with a club booth and a hotel about €233. If the groom doesn’t pay for himself, everyone else puts in a bit more – with 12 people on the basic version, for example, it’s about €62 a head.
To be upfront: only our bubble football prices are exact. The figures for dinner, clubs, accommodation and transport are rough assumptions for the sums – swap in the quotes you get, and the method stays the same.
What goes into a stag do budget?
The cost of a stag do in Krakow depends mainly on whether you need accommodation and what the evening looks like. Your budget should include:
- a daytime activity – bubble football, karting, paintball, etc.
- dinner – anything from a pizzeria to a tasting menu
- the evening – a pub, a club, a VIP booth, a boat party or a party tram
- accommodation – if some of the group are coming from outside Krakow
- transport – between stops on the programme and home at night
- extras – T-shirts, accessories, a present for the groom, photos or a video
- the groom’s share – if he traditionally doesn’t pay, the rest of you split his part
- a buffer – about 10% for surprises

How much does bumper ball cost for a stag do?
Here are the exact prices of our packages (per person):
- Without a hall – €17/person. 10–12 balls, free delivery in Krakow, about 45 minutes of actual play and the organiser’s supervision: our person brings the balls, inflates them, shows you how to put them on and keeps an eye on the game. You provide the pitch – an Orlik pitch (one of the free public all-weather pitches built across Poland), grass or a hall.
- With a hall – €22/person. The same plus sports hall rental.
- With a VIP hall – €28/person. The same plus a game host and referee, souvenir photos, a bottle of water for everyone and a professional warm-up. This is the package stag groups choose most often.
Add-ons: photo coverage €34 (20–25 photos plus a group photo), a short HD video €78, a game host and referee €34/h (with a speaker for music) and hall rental €58/h. Transport for participants, catering and extending the game by 30 minutes are priced individually.
Example: in the VIP package, 8 people pay €224 in total, 12 people €336 and 20 people €560. With 20 players we run a mini tournament, as 10–12 people are on the pitch at once, so a longer game is worth considering. Stag do budget for 8, 12 and 20 people
The table shows the cost of the whole event and – after the slash – the amount per paying person if the groom doesn’t contribute. Per-person amounts are rounded to the nearest euro.
| Option | 8 people | 12 people | 20 people |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (€57/person) | €456 / €65 | €684 / €62 | €1,140 / €60 |
| Mid-range (€137/person) | €1,096 / €157 | €1,644 / €149 | €2,740 / €144 |
| VIP (€233/person) | €1,864 / €266 | €2,796 / €254 | €4,660 / €245 |
The bigger the group, the less the groom’s share is felt: with 8 people on the basic version everyone pays about €8 extra, with 20 people only about €3. Who traditionally pays and how to talk about the kitty is covered in our article who pays for the stag do.
What changes with 8, 12 and 20 people?
- 8 people – everyone plays at once, and it’s easy to get a restaurant table and a single apartment. The groom’s share is felt most here, as it’s split between just 7 people.
- 12 people – the ideal number for bubble football: we have 10 balls 1.5 m in diameter and 2 larger 1.7 m ones for taller players, so the whole group plays. Book the restaurant and VIP booth in advance.
- 20 people – the match becomes a mini tournament with rotating teams, so consider extending the game by 30 minutes. A shared minibus will usually be more convenient than several taxis.

How to cut the cost of a stag do
- Play without a hall. Bubble football on an Orlik pitch or grass is €17 instead of €22 per person – with 12 people you save €60.
- Skip the accommodation. If most of the group lives in or near Krakow, that’s a big saving.
- Go for a pizzeria and a pub. A pizzeria instead of a restaurant and a pub instead of a club saves, on our assumptions, another €35 or so per person.
- Collect the money upfront. When the kitty is ready before the party, nobody has to chip in at the last minute for other people’s bills.
- Less booze, more activities. The bar bill can easily exceed the cost of the whole programme – for ideas for an active, alcohol-free day, see stag do without alcohol – 12 active ideas.
What’s not worth skimping on? The journey home at night, the buffer and the running order: sport first, then drinks. A cheap plan that leaves you stranded at 3 am soon stops being cheap – for the full preparation list, see our guide how to plan a stag do.
